Scott Scales Allstate Insurance Agency using VoIP
Scott Scales is the owner of Scott Scales Allstate Insurance Agency. He runs his insurance business on a day to day basis working with clients working on the phones selling every day. His agency sells all lines of insurance for individuals and businesses. He has been in the insurance business since 1984 and now has 3 other employees. His agency is located in Frankfort Indiana.
Business Phone System Challenge:
Scott’s insurance company was originally using “a regular old fashion high priced system with AT&T.” He was paying high rates for per minute usage with landlines and was limited to basic features. He needed a way to be able to track his sales agents and their phone activity. With an old fashioned system this was next to impossible. Scott wanted a phone system that would provide this ability but also save his business money. His Allstate agency handles a large volume of calls, so each agent needed the ability to handle multiple calls on his or her phone.
After some internet research, Scott found Vocalocity and was attracted to the price and feature set. “The price was great, but everything else made it just perfect.” Since switching he has gotten much more out of his business phone system than he expected for his insurance agency.
He is especially pleased about Vocalocity’s Dashboard feature, which allows for real-time monitoring of activity on his PBX. That means that he can see which extensions are on the phone, what number they’re on call with, and the duration of the call. His agents also use softphones (software phones used on a computer with a headset) so that they can keep in touch when they’re out of the office.
Scott has seen big savings after switching to Vocalocity business phone service, “about 50% a month on 3 lines but each phone can handle 4 calls at a time and my new one can stack 6 calls.”
When asked if he has any complaints about the service or system he answered simply “none, it is a dream come true.”
Vocalocity prides itself on its customer care team. We keep our staff educated on hosted pbx so that our support is completely up to date with every aspect of our system. When asked about his experience with Vocalocity customer care Scott responded “The customer support is #1 and the voice quality is better than AT&T.”
When asked if he had any advice for businesses thinking about switching their phone system to Vocalocity Scott had this to say, “This is one of the best business decisions I have made in years. Don’t let the technology scare you, it is easy.”
Vocalocity’s business phone service is a great fit for small companies looking to save money on their phone bills without sacrificing diverse and powerful features.
