Vocalocity CTO to Speak at Seventh-Annual Conference About VoIP, Video, Mobility, Web and Grid
Vocalocity, the leading provider of cloud-based phone systems for small businesses, today announced that its Chief Technology Officer, Mahesh Paolini-Subramanya, will present at the upcoming Real-Time Communications Conference and Expo in Chicago, Illinois on October 5th, 2011 at 4:30 P.M.
The annual conference hosts the cloud-communication industry’s premier technical gathering of professionals discussing next generation communications regarding business, technology, and regulation. Speakers include representatives from Cisco, Siemens, Google, and Motorola.
Paolini-Subramanya will present his thoughts and research in a talk titled “VoIP in the Cloud: Scaling Massively Through the Magic of Erlang.” He will address manipulating large amounts of data in near real-time to flawlessly execute a combination of SIP and RTP transactions in a complex, cloud-based telephony system.
Presently the CTO of Vocalocity, Paolini-Subramanya is a recognized thought leader in the VoIP industry and was a founder and CTO of Aptela prior to its merger with Vocalocity. He developed the technological foundation for the e-commerce revolution by helping to create the world's first online commerce system, and has since been at the forefront of the development of hosted VoIP services.
