Wain Kellum

CEO

Prior to joining Vocalocity, Wain developed a solid track record of rapid revenue growth and successful outcomes for a diverse group of technology companies he has managed. Wain has deep experience organically growing companies; buying and integrating companies; forming strategic alliances; and raising capital. He has completed successful equity transactions with a variety of companies including Microsoft and with Hewlett Packard (HP). During the eighties, before starting and eventually selling his first company to HP, Wain gained experience as a business strategist for Dun & Bradstreet Software; as a manufacturing consultant for Ernst & Young; and in sales for Management Science America, Inc. (MSA). Wain has investments in an assortment of private companies and currently serves on the board of NETtime Solutions. He is the Chair Emeritus and served as the Chairperson of TechBridge from 2006 – 2009. Wain also serves as an advisor to the ATDC. Wain was the recipient of the Southeastern AeA 2005 “Spirit of Endeavor” Award for Outstanding Leadership. In 2008, Wain was named one of the 25 most influential people in the southeast technology community by TechJournal South. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with honors from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Georgia State University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.

Don Dysert

CFO

Don Dysert is responsible for all of Vocalocity's administrative functions including finance and accounting, human resources and legal. He brings more than 25 years of finance, accounting, M&A, operations and risk management experience to Vocalocity. Don has previously served as CFO for three privately-held, venture-backed software companies: Air2Web, Scentric and Marc Global. He has also held financial management positions with Mirant, Scientific-Atlanta, Bank of America and Ernst & Young. Don is a certified public accountant and he holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.

John May

CTO

John May directs all aspects of engineering for Vocalocity, including software, hardware, network, and testing. He manages a team of engineers who are responsible for developing and evolving Vocalocity’s software and hardware. John most recently served as CTO and founder of Recordant, Inc., which provided tools to perform voice data capture and analytics. He also served as CTO of Witness Systems, Inc., a publicly held company that provided tools associated with call center performance. Prior to that, John worked at Cray Research where he launched and was named president and CEO of Cray subsidiary, Circuit Tools, Inc., a CAD-related company later sold to Intergraph Corporation. He has worked as a turnaround consultant for software projects at both Apple Computer and Lucas Films’ Industrial Light and Magic. John has published several technical books and articles and is considered an authority in the field of computer programming. He received his degree in electrical engineering at the University of Alabama and later taught at the University of California, Berkeley.

David Politis

Executive VP and General Manager

David Politis is the founding employee of ZivVa (now Vocalocity) and was instrumental in transitioning the business from international VoIP calling to Hosted PBX services. David pioneered the company's lead acquisition programs and managed product development of the hosted applications at Vocalocity. Prior to joining Vocalocity, David was the Director of Marketing for Symphony Vodka where he developed the business plan and sponsorship strategy for the new market launch of the Czech Vodka. A native of New York City, David has studied and traveled abroad extensively. He was student at The Shaanxi Normal University in Xi'an, China and also studied in Rome. David has participated in humanitarian efforts in Ecuador, the Dominican Republic and Dominica in addition to working with the Children's Miracle Network. He is a sports enthusiast and holds a second degree black belt in tae kwon do. A native of New York City, David is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, with a major in economics.

Liam McElhone

Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Liam directs all aspects of service delivery to our customers. He oversees our Customer Care team and leads the development and management of new products. Prior to joining Vocalocity, Liam served as Vice President of Operations for mindSHIFT Technologies, where he led a team of engineers and customer support professionals that delivered a comprehensive suite of technology solutions to businesses in the mid-Atlantic region. During his time at mindSHIFT, the company grew to become one of the largest providers of managed services to small- and medium-sized customers. Liam has extensive experience working with early stage technology solution providers. He served as a founding member of the management team at Global Metro Networks, an international provider of fiber optic network infrastructure with operations in eleven countries. Liam has also held senior leadership positions at XO Communications, Cable & Wireless and e.spire Communications. Liam graduated with honors from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
