Vocalocity makes phone systems easy and flexible to improve your business
Alexis Hunter Group is a family-owned, independent insurance agency. The company, a small business with two full time and several part time employees, has been in business for over 30 years and offers all forms of insurance and represents a variety of insurance companies from large international carriers.
Phone System Challenges:
According to Christopher Zavawski with Alexis Hunter Group, the company previously used a Samsung PBX phone system, which was not working out for them. “You needed a Master’s degree in engineering to program the darn thing,” he said. Among his major concerns when looking to switch to another phone service were having a system that was easier to use, with a lower cost and support personnel with whom he could communicate with easily.
Vocalocity Success:
Zavawski said he made the switch to Vocalocity based on the flexibility of features, price savings and U.S. based support.
Switching to Vocalocity, Zavawski found that and more, including all the phone system features expected in big company phone systems, but at a fraction of the cost. Since Vocalocity owns its own Hosted PBX technology all of these features are available, consistently and reliably, to help small businesses compete with larger firms. Vocalocity also allowed him to be more mobile in doing business, and “cut the ‘cord’ to my office desk,” he said. “Now wherever I am, so is my office.” All these features came at a cost significantly lower than his previous service, at about a half of what his company was paying with Verizon and an E-fax service, but with much greater reliability, he said.
Zavawski’s favorite features include Fax, Never Miss a Call and Voicemail to Email. He is also impressed with the overall quality he receives from Vocalocity.

How would he describe how Vocalocity has improved the overall efficiency and service over his old phone system?
“There’s no comparison to Verizon’s old, ancient Custo-Pak services,” he said, comparing them to services from the 1980’s at 2011 prices. “Vocalocity has really added to our bottom line. And in this economy every penny helps.”
