Phone System Challenges:
BNG Consulting Inc was formerly using Broadview for their business phone system needs. They liked VoIP based phone service, but they began looking for a new solution because they were dissatisfied with both the quality of their phones and the price of service. For a boutique consulting agency like BNG, an affordable phone system with powerful business features is crucial to maintaining a strong market presence.
BNG employees aren’t always in the office, and they wanted to get cloud-based business phone service that allowed them the flexibility to travel. With a cloud based system they would be able to conduct conference calls, even if employees were working from the road or at home. They needed call forwarding features that would allow them to stay in touch on the go, even through cell phones.
Vocalocity Success:
BNG Consultants switched to Vocalocity because of cost savings over their old phone system. They needed business grade features, but they did not want to break the bank to have them. A cloud-based business phone system allowed them to get the features they wanted at a price they can afford. Call Conference (3 Way Calling) allows BNG’s consultants to communicate with clients easily and efficiently, even when a consultant is in another location. Vocalocity’s Never Miss-A-Call function allows each BNG employee to set up rules for his or her own extension. Employees can set rules for simultaneous ring to their desk phone and cell phone, sequential ringing to try the office first then the cell phone, or call forwarding if they know they’ll be out of the office. Voicemail to Email is another great feature for busy employees. Each employee can log in to his own end-user interface (a web page that controls only the functions of his own extension) and check a box to enable voicemail to email. Then, every time the employee receives a voicemail, an mp3 is delivered to his inbox. This adds the convenience of an email reminder and the accessibility of listening from the computer, especially if the employee isn’t at his or her desk.
