Referral Program Rules
Effective Date: May 1-31, 2013
Program Overview: The Vocalocity Referral Program provides the opportunity to refer friends, colleagues, and associates to Vocalocity and receive compensation.
Promotion Details: For a limited time only, Vocalocity will award cash or an account credit to any entity which refers an Eligible New Customer that signs up by May 31, 2013 and activates one or more unlimited or metered extensions. This award will be issued only after the referral has been an active and paying customer for 90 days. If an award of cash is elected, a W-9 tax form must be completed and submitted prior to issuance of the award.
In addition, the referral account will get their first month free for all unlimited or metered extensions. Hardware, premium features, usage fees for metered extensions and the DID Recovery Fee are not included.
Definition of an Eligible New Customer: A new signed customer must be a current active and paying customer for at least 90 days and in compliance with Vocalocity’s Terms of Service before referral account is eligible for a referral award, and that customer or related entity must not have been a Vocalocity customer at any time in the past.
Requirements:
- Referred leads must be for new business only
- Referrals must be submitted through the proper channels to qualify
- Referrals must close within promotion stated timeframe to qualify
Referral Verification: Once a referral is submitted, it is reviewed to determine if it is a Qualified Lead by Vocalocity. At the time of referral submission, we request a completed W-9 form so we can pre-process this information and are able to proceed when the lead becomes a customer.
Definition of a Qualified Lead: A qualified lead is defined as a new contact in a decision-making role at an organization not already registered as a Vocalocity lead that is in the market for and in a position to purchase a hosted PBX system from Vocalocity.
Award Issuance: If there are options within the promotion for method of award issuance, it is the sole responsibility of the referrer to communicate the desired award to their Vocalocity sales rep, or Customer Care at 866-901-0242. If the award elected is not an account credit, a completed W-9 tax form is required prior to issuance. If a W-9 tax form is on file associated with the referrer but no specific election of issuance method has been made, a cash reward will be issued to the referrer on file. If a method of issuance is not elected within 180 days of becoming eligible for a referral reward and there is no W-9 tax form on file, the reward will be forfeited.
Important Notes: Vocalocity reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend, adjust, change or discontinue any terms described herein without prior notice. Vocalocity retains sole discretion and authority to interpret all aspects of the referral program including, but not limited to, criteria, eligibility, amount and/or frequency of payments and whether such payments will be made. Employees of an Eligible New Customer are not eligible for referral awards for that same Eligible New Customer.
